To raise enough money to give every elementary school child in Vancouver City schools a pair of Vancouver 2010 Red Mittens!

• To foster a sense of pride in their community, their city and their Olympics.
• By wearing the mitts they are supporting athletes who were once kids with dreams and aspirations...just like them!
• By supporting this drive we are telling the kids that they count.
• Because our children need heros and role models.
• Because little hands need to be warm!

• Start with kindergarten (approx. 5000 students) and work through each grade up to Grade 7 as the money is raised.
• For each $10 raised, $1 will go to the Hot Lunch programs in the inner city schools. There are no administration costs. Every penny goes to the kids!
